The Battle Creek Regional History Museum operates completely with volunteers. Help is always appreciated in many areas: volunteering your time and talent, donating funds to further our mission of preserving our rich history and even donating items related to our area.
As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization your monetary contributions are tax deductible. At the present time we do not offer memberships so your monetary donations show your support to help us move forward. Donations are used for general expenses as well as supplies for storing collections and can also be earmarked for specific areas such as collections and/or exhibitions.
Items can also be donated to the Museum. We always look for historical items and archival material related to Battle Creek and the surrounding region. All gifts are unrestricted and become the property of the Battle Creek Regional History Museum.
Items of historical merit not related to Battle Creek and the surrounding area can also be donated to be sold in the Museum’s Gift Shop. Funds made through sales in the Gift Shop help to offset our operating expenses. Please click on the link below to download a donation form.
As a completely volunteer organization, we are always looking for additional support! Volunteers are needed to work on various committees: Education, Building and Grounds, Collections, Gift Shop, Program, and other areas. Volunteers help staff our building during open hours and act as docents for tours. Please click on the link below to download the volunteer form.
